Each time Converse releases a new model or color, all our female readers are very excited to discover whether there is a silhouette made available for them. Unfortunately, most models are still made for guys but not this time with these two styles that took some public appearance. Amongst the latest release for the Converse ladies would the Chuck Taylor High that is made out of satin uppers in purple. It has a black rubber toe cap and some black eyelets. This though creates a new drama with its heel lacing feature that allows it to extend to the rear. But its design is very conventional like the Chuck Taylor which sits on a white rubber sole that is vulcanized and comes with some black pinstripe. The other is a low top version that displays fully covered uppers with all the sequins to make it glitter a lot and adds a very feminine touch.

Nothing can be as simple as this pair of Converse Pro Leather which was made and designed by Ruslan Karablin who is also known as SSUR. By starting this collaboration, Converse committed the Pro Leather to be the true subject of this make over. The changes were just minimal since the pair remains to be black and receives some gold treatment in the tongue label form that displays a shark tooth jewel. It also has a dead skull logo right on the rear. Each tip of the shoe lace is wrapped in gold and there seems to be a gold stopper. The material used for the uppers are in simple black leather and the concept is very monochromatic. SSUR touched only some minor parts to be the main highlight of the shoe design. The sneaker in turn becomes very gorgeous with all the sparkling golden accents. If you love gold on black, then you better get this pair!

It all began with the bits and pieces of the dead stock clothing from the Navy and Army shops right around the country when the popular The Duffer of St. George was established in UK. The entire collection is made up of clothing in various styles and designs exuding the British heritage. To let the craft be known all the more by many, they partnered with Converse. With this, we shall take a closer look at the Converse Jack Purcell x The Duffer of St. George. Both parties agreed to use the Jack Purcell classic model and used only black and white. Its design is seen on the sides and the rear panels with some paisley prints that pop out in various sizes and detail. The namesake of the Duffer can be seen on the heel and the tongue with the toe caps in white and sole in vulcanized rubber.

This shoe reminds me of Dippin’ Dots. You know, small yummy ice cream that doesn’t actually look like ice cream at first glance? Looks yummy right? Although this is already the 20th century and the shoe era where most brands release models that are in black or silver, the retro-like facade will make you look cool (less the afro and the bell-bottom jeans).
Oh, I almost forgot. This kick is actually called as the Converse Weapon Hi Polka Dot. They made another Weapon Hi classic since the Weapon Evo that they released last month became a hit.
Online sneaker store called MITA already have this “smarties sneaker” up and available in their website already. Not sure though if the Converse Weapon Hi Polka Dot will become available in US and other parts of the world. But if you want to get hold of this eye-candy, better order it online now!

I definitely vote for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star OX in Grey Nubuck to be one of the hottest sneakers I found today. Yes, I definitely love the upper color of the new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star OX in Grey Nubuck.
It comes with the best quality from Converse Product(RED) collaboration. Most of the accents are tonal grey. Midsole match the color of the Upper with the shoe laces. The tongue comes with a tag matching the red top eyelets. What I love about it is the sneaker’s leopard print on the lining of the sneaker’s opening. Check it out at Kinetics website.

For many, the Chuck Taylor can be dressed up to go with nearly anything. To help keep that idea true, Converse has enlisted the help of UK retailer Offspring for a special “Clean Crafted” line. The line takes the high and low All=Stars and dresses them in a premium leather. Using a soft brown as the base, you will find the high in a denim blue colorway, with the low sporting a navy and a maroon colorway. All three pairs retain a white outsole and spice up the tongue with a leather tag and rand laces.
Converse has recently hit quite a stride with John Varvatos and created a handful of very cool sneakers. For their next collaborative effort snakeskin is put to good use to help create a not only unique looking shoe but also something that is very luxurious. Navy, black are all used and given an assortment of lace up styles including a CT Multi Eye Ox, CT Vintage Slip and a CT Spec Ox. The shoes have released to select retailers and are available now.

Converse has as much of a legacy to Rock n Roll as it does to Basketball. The All Star has been spotted on virtually all of the stars at one point or another and in recognition of this they seems to pay homage to their rock roots whenever possible.
